Warhammer Pics

I'm so proud  of my lil' sis -> Baby sister winning Highpoint GW Armies on Parade.

As requested by my dear sister and her beau Elton.

Alternate Arcane Fulcrums for Storm of Magic; I modelled these on what Kevin's reach would look like in The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever, especially the last 2.

What's been happening lately?

It's been a long time since our last update so I thought I'd post a few pics

We got a GEEP hutch. the guinea pigs love it....

Doing some scenery for Warhammer, like magical towers of energy, These are basically just in the halfway stage of applying plaster and steps.

Cake for the Daughter, all natural food colourings as well, it was a marble cake underneath, which tasted beautiful.

AND IT SNOWED IN FREEKIN' WELLINGTON, in fact it snowed everywhere for like the first time in ages.
Snow on the deck.

 Snow falling on the driverway
On a bit of wood we had in the backyard.
 Snow on a Log
 Snow on a fence.
And one of the sprogs made a mini snowman. we didn't get much snow but it was very cool nonetheless.

Harvesting Pumpkins

Braved the beautiful (ahem) weather on Wednesday to do some gardening and harvested the pumpkins and laid down a cardboard and carpet for 1/3 of the front garden.
The Harvest: pumpkins pumpkins, pumpkins!!! Lots of roasted pumpkins, pumpkin soup, mmm yum.

Cardboard and Carpet, just need to mulch over with straw and cut grass and prep for spring.

Mama Fern's Tamarillo is sleeping on the job. We had a little wind in NZ the last week.

Raspberry canes transported from our friend's raspberry patch. About 50 of them in all.
  Papa Sam out.

TTK at Sustainable Home and Garden Show

Andrew Rundle-Keswick, Samuel Campbell, Fern Campbell and Paul Bruce.
Just a short update. We were at the sustainable home and garden show a few weeks ago. Talking to lots of people about transitioning their homes and community, as well as helping re-build communities to increase local resilience.

Despite the fact that it rained on and off most of the weekend (aside from the torrential downpour on Sunday afternoon), we had a great weekend, and met a whole bunch of really lovely local people.
